MAA Engineering Consultants International Ltd. (MAA) signed the Letter of Intent for Cooperation with Beijing Urban Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (BUEDRI) to enhance the corporation between two companies in market promotion, technology and human resource sharing. The LOI was signed by Dr. Za-Chieh Moh, Chariman of MAA Group, and Mr. Ming-Hua Song, President of the BUEDRI on 28th June 2004 in Beijing, China.

The BUERI was founded in 1958 with the focus on urban rail transit engineering and is a well-known engineering consulting company in China. With over 1,000 employees in the company, the BUERI has more than 57% of experienced engineers and among them, 80 people have various types of expert title. The major core business components include urban rail transportation, industry facilities, commercial & residential buildings, and public works.
